Our founder, Gabriel, started working in the window covering industry in 1976 and after a few years realized there was a big need for quality window coverings and efficient service. In 1986 Gabriel founded Gabriel’s Draperies in Sylmar, Ca. With a couple sewing machines, some equipment he had purchased from a friend in the business and a lot of determination, he got to work. Ten years later the business was growing strong. We expanded and moved to our current location in Reseda, Ca, where we continue to proudly serve the greater Los Angeles and Southern California areas.

We are family owned and operated, and it is our commitment to quality service and dedication to our work that has allowed our business to keep growing with little to no advertising. We pride ourselves in our family-approach and personal attention to projects, and believe these are some of the things that have kept our clients working with us for 10, 15, even 20 years! Our best advertisement is our work, and as a result the bulk of our business has come from referrals. Our greatest assets are our employees and our customers.
